Charlie's Handle
Charlie had decided that the weather be damned, her life be damned, the news be damned, she was going to the beach. She took the short walk to the sandy spot not a mile from her tiny little house excited to take in the water and sun, in her tiny white bikini. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. As she was slowly getting out of the water after just a short half hour of diving around, Charlie looked around and saw that everyone was being ushered out of the surf. She could make out some yelling of the lifeguards about “Something in the water”, she thought maybe they had spotted a shark. She shook her head, to help get the water out of her ears, as she had been swimming aggressively in and out of the surf the whole time. As she did she felt herself grow a little off balance as if her weight had shifted drastically. “Damn tide” She thought as she shuffled her way to shore, before losing balance and falling back in the water.
